From Germany and Japan's government and enterprise level from support to application, to China's industry and local government to increase the layout of hydrogen refueling facilities, all show that the development trend of hydrogen vehicles has become a "shooting arrow".

Hydrogen car is a moving car with hydrogen as its main energy. Hydrogen energy is regarded as one of the most promising clean energy sources in the world, and is regarded as the "ultimate new energy vehicle solution". Hydrogen energy vehicles are divided into two types, hydrogen internal combustion engine vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. At present, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are developing rapidly.

The principle of hydrogen fuel cell is to input hydrogen into the fuel cell, hydrogen electrons are blocked by the proton exchange membrane, through the external circuit from the negative electrode to the positive electrode, become electric energy to drive the motor; The protons, on the other hand, can be discharged through a proton exchange membrane combined with oxidation to form a pure water mist. This effectively reduces the air pollution caused by other fuel vehicles. In addition, hydrogen can be produced in large quantities from water electrolysis, coal gasification, and does not need to carry out a large modification of the car engine, so hydrogen vehicles have broad application prospects.

Three technical problems need to be solved to promote hydrogen vehicles:

  1. The traditional electrolysis method is expensive and consumes other resources to produce cheap hydrogen in large quantities, which cannot be popularized.
  2. Solve the safe storage and transportation of hydrogen;
  3. High performance, cheap hydrogen supply system for automobiles.
